"COOL ONE" DIN Mount Zero Cross Time Based SSR Controller

Anacon Power & Controls SCR Controller's are designed to offer proven solutions to both Phase Angle and Burst Fire applications. Our Burst Fire SCR Controllers operate by varying the duty cycle of an SSR's control input.  The power delivered to the load is proportional to the command input signal from four selectable time bases. (200ms, 1 sec, 10 sec & 100 sec.) SCR Controllers allow you to apply more precise control to any heater application, regardless of the type of heater elements you choose.

  • Ratings based upon 100% duty cycle for 20 minutes or 80% duty cycle continuous.

  • Ratings are based upon relays being mounted either individually or side by side with zero spacing.

  • Cool One's unique construction allows better performance than conventional heat sink designs even when mounted side by side

Control Information & Typical Wiring Diagram

The Zero Cross SSR Controller output drive is a DC pulsed current limited drive signal of 10V/15mA (24VAC power) or 10V/9.5mA (24VDC power).  This is more than enough current for driving most 3-32V standard SSRs, however it is still important to review the data sheet for the SSR you would like to use for compatibility with the Zero Cross SSR Controller's output drive.  The following graph will allow you to verify the SSR's compatibility with the APCSCR1Z over wide input voltage variations.
